Moving from the can control series and carved wall drawings I was interested in other ways a drawing could be embedded into a surface. This series uses wood veneer as the surface into which the drawing is burned. Much like in the Can Control Series, I asked others to provide instructions for a word, mark, or shape which I realized in color spray paint in specified areas.
